This First Art color sorting activity geared to children 18 months to 4 years old is easy to put together and a great way to learn through play!

Kirkwood Public Library First Art – Color Sorting

  1. Gather items that are different colors. Try only 2 or 3 colors at first. You can use construction paper cut into shapes.
  2. Tape colored construction paper on different bowls or baskets.
  3. Have toddler sort items by color.
