Cahokia Mounds Presents City of the Sun: The Ancient City of Cahokia with Cristhian Flores Trujillo

Join us as Cristhian Flores Trujillo, the Site Conservation Education Representative at Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, discusses the ancient city of Cahokia, a site in present-day Illinois which was inhabited by Native Americans from about 700 to 1400. An ancient metropolis, it was an artistic, cultural, and power center during the Mississippian period, and its inhabitants created the largest earthworks in North America.
