Director Michael Kasino compiles a revelatory and troubling exposé that will forever alter how we think about the democratic process. Narrated by acclaimed actor Jeffrey Wright, the film outlines voter suppression tactics. By passing unfair legislation, purging voter rolls, and limiting registration, key political operatives have directly impeded the vote for significant portions of the population in order to gain an advantage. Issues of individual liberty, systemic racism, and “voter fraud” ideology permeate the narrative and offer enlightening perspectives on the issue. A discussion will be held after the screening to further the dialogue established in the film.
