Author Talk: Kathryn Muehlheausler, Trilogy of the Magi

People always want to know how/why Kathie Muehlheausler decided to write about the three kings of Christmas lore who followed the star to Bethlehem. She loves to tell them the story of the January morning, a number of years ago, when completely out-of-the-blue while she was driving to her public school teaching job, the idea came to her. The plot of the book would be about the youngest of the magi who would return with his servant, to discover “if the man had fulfilled the child’s destiny.” Come hear Kathie talk about the book, and how she’d forgotten about it all until one day…
