Join Kathy Schrenk, author of the new book, “Kirkwood: A Walk Through History,” to enjoy a tour through the neighborhoods east of downtown Kirkwood on May 7. The walk will start at Kirkwood Public Library and include the city’s oldest church, the original location of the historical society, and some of the oldest homes in Kirkwood. You will also be able to purchase a copy of “Kirkwood: A Walk Through History”.  The walk is approximately two and a half miles and is appropriate for all ages. Dress for the weather, and don’t forget a sun hat, walking shoes, and a bottle of water. Walk will be rescheduled in case of extreme weather, including heavy rain or excessive heat.
