Reading Buddies 2024

Reading Buddies.
Children entering grades 1-4 that are all level of readers, may apply to participate in KPL’s Summer Reading Buddies program, which pairs them with a teen volunteer Big Buddy for one-on-one reading time over four weekly sessions throughout the summer. Please note due to scheduling logistics, little buddies will not be matched with the same big buddy each week.
Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot in the program. We make every attempt to accommodate every child but space is limited. We ask that Little Buddies have no more than one scheduled absence per session to get the full experience.
Session 1 – Tuesdays: 6/4, 6/11, 6/18, 6/25
Time: 2:30 PM
AND/OR
Session 2 – Tuesdays: 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30
Time: 2:30 PM
Last Day to submit an application: Monday, June 3, 2024.
