Baby/Toddler Yoga April 21, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Introduce your little one to basic yoga concepts that focus on motor skills, yoga postures, balance, breathing and positive social interactions. Teen Summer Volunteer Groups
Group 1: Summer Reading Assistant: Help us give out Summer Reading prizes, create coupon booklets, help patrons sign up for Summer Reading at the public computers, and answer questions about the program.
Group 2: Youth Services Event Volunteer: This is perfect for someone that wants to help us put on events for kids and teens! Duties include program preparation, helping at specific events such as storytime, and assisting during library programs with staff.
Group 3: Behind the Scenes Volunteer: A fit if you enjoy independent projects like shelving books, helping us keep the room inviting and tidy, refilling book displays, helping with behind the scenes Summer Reading prep including couponing, supply preparation, and more!
Group 4: Office Assistant: Work in the library admin office on light clerical duties such as scanning and stickering books. Great if you want some office/organizing experience!
Group 5: Mural Project: Help us design a library mural on the outside fence. If you love creative projects, painting and teamwork, this group is for you!

The Kirkwood Public Library maintains a meeting room for Library sponsored programs consistent with its mission “to inspire a lifelong commitment to learning and creativity, for a more prosperous and connected community.” The Kirkwood Public Library welcomes outside organizations or individuals interested in presenting at the Library. Events must be offered virtually and may be done so at the discretion of library managers. This selection will be based on public service needs and other activities scheduled.
